With changes of the body shape as the fetus grows in the womb, the body needs to accommodate the space. The ligaments and muscles will be stressed, the abdominal wall will become stretched, pelvic pressure will increase as well. As the hormonal imbalance naturally occurs, such as an increase of relaxin, the body can adjust to the growth of the baby. However, this will affect other joints as well. We provide strategies to ease the process of delivery. We prepare patients to get back into their previous level of conditions and fitness.
